Hello there,I've just noticed a PTC related site hosted on Weebly that is currently been advertised through a PTC ad here on YGP. So by this chance I decided to make a post about it and probably warn some people that are using sites hosted on Weebly or Blogger to advertise PTCs and other money making programs. Weebly and also Blogger are against PTCs and once your site starts receiving some good amounts of traffic they will soon take it down and ban your account. You've better keep a backup just in case and research around for a new PTC friedly host.. It's happened to me before and to a lot of other PTC users as well, so I'd like to warn you and prevent any damage or data loss caused by them. I hope I'll have saved someone's time and efforts with this post.. Best Regards, SolidSnake |

You see the problem with the nature of the sites we use for adverising PTCs is like this : there are periods where these sites may receive close to zero traffic but also periods where they receive a couple of thousands of visitors in a single day. That is usually something free hosts do not like. One thing you could do is contact their support and ask them directly if you would be allowed to do that. If they are kind enough to reply to you, you will be in a better state to judge. I have tried dozens of free hosts for this specific reason and to be honest I was fed up in the end because even if they accept your site, they are usually unreliable, slow and there are limitations on what php code they accept. And there was even the excessive traffic usage that even some paid hosts did not accept. To my luck I was introduced by a good friend to a very affordable reliable, PTC friendly host that has no problems with my traffic usage no matter how high the spikes in my graphs get. The hosting pack that I use offers me the following features at the price of $20 / year : Bandwidth limit : 50GB (Monthly) That is regardless of how excessive my traffic gets.. this means I can use it all in one day without problems for example.. Also I can always extend that amount at an additional cost of $3 per 30GBs, but I've never really reached that.. the best trick is that if you host your image files in an external site like imgur or imageshack you will never reach that bandwidth limit.. (My site receives ~300.000 visitors / month and I almost never cross 10GBs in bandwidth..) ..also the pack includes : 5GB disk space 4 MySQL Databases 20 Email Accounts 1 FTP Access account 1 Add-on domain 10 sub-domains +cpanel tools for practically anything (forums, blogs, software etc.) And their support has been so amazing that I'm actually friends with the owner of the site now. Since they use a system with affiliates I will not post a link or name here. But if you are interested you can always contact me through a PM. I'd be happy to help. |
